A Person Really Can Become Fat If Sleep Deprivation

Sleep deprivation A Person Really Can Become Fat If Sleep DeprivationAgain, research shows that a good night’s sleep is extremely important for a healthy weight! Because the body burns fewer calories when we sleep too little. A lack of sleep causes the metabolism to cut back during the day running. The body uses less energy, according to scientists at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.

Last week U.S. study has revealed that owls often too thick. One possible explanation would be that people who sleep in the waking hours much more food. And it is often than not very healthy food!

According to Sweden so there is more, a tired body burns calories at a slower pace. Their study involved 14 male college students participate. They were alternately normal sleep, too little or not at all. The researchers recorded how much they eat, their hormone levels, blood sugar and the speed of their metabolism.

Even a single night of missed sleep was significantly slowing down the metabolism. During the morning after a bad night, subjects consumed 5 to 20% less energy for basic bodily functions like breathing and digestion, compared with the morning after a good night.

How many students ate was not affected by the sleep deprivation – but the lower energy the body needs more calories was ‘about’ the food they had eaten. Thus more and more studies seem to show a link between sleep deprivation and weight gain.
